We would be so honored for you to come and celebrate with us as we launch our first official year as flower farmers. We started this journey when we moved to the farmhouse in August 2024, and already the small seed-of-an-idea has blossomed into something we’re beyond excited to share with you.

To properly celebrate this special time, we wanted to allow our loved ones to participate in the growth and planting of the farm. For this reason, and Rachel’s birthday, we figured the end of May is a perfect time to celebrate the end of the cold months and the beginning of spring and new seasons. The weekend of May 25th is one of the best times to plant because any frost concerns will be passed. So we have decided to have a planting party where each person (who wants to) gets to plant some seeds or transplant baby plants into the ground. We have been nurturing many seedlings over the winter and can’t wait to see them move outside.
On the agenda
(included but not limited to, all optional):
- Planting seeds or seedlings into the garden
- BBQ eating and drink drinking
- Music enjoyment
- Game for a prize
- Bouncy castle for the kiddos
- Possible swimming in pool or chilling in hot tub
- Christening prayer over the farm
If you plan to join, please let us know in the RSVP form below if you’re interested in planting help. Also, if you are, I recommend you bring comfortable clothes. We also have a hot tub and a swimming pool (that probably won’t be ready in time) but bring swimsuits just in case. We will be providing a meal and drinks for everyone and if we get enough families we’ll rent a bouncy castle for the kiddos. Can’t wait to see you there!
